Hi, I wanted to enquire about Medicare Part A. What exactly is Medicare part A is covered, and what’s the best way to find out what hospitals are covered in my medicare hospital insurance?

If the hospital accepts Medicare or you are admitted to a hospital by order of a Doctor, Medicare part A (hospital insurance) will cover your inpatient care. It will include semi-private rooms, general nursing, nursing home care, daily meals, drugs, hospice care, and other basic needs throughout the day. Part A does not include personal care items, Entertainment systems (TVs, etc.) in the room, and private room facility.
