Medicare is a US government-powered health insurance plan. It provides certain covers for citizens' health needs. Medicare is divided into parts. In this post, we are going to examine Medicare part B and what it covers. Medicare Part B is essentially about outpatient services. That is it covers the cost of assessing health care outside the hospital. Below are the things covered by Medicare part B

1) Preventive Doctors Visits: Medicare Part B pays for doctors visits that would help to prevent a disease from happening to you and your family. This include vaccination and immunization.

2) Same-Day Surgery: If you have been prescribed an emergency surgery that can be carried out on the same day, Medicare Part B pays for it.

3) Emergency Room Services: If you ever had to be admitted in the emergency room, Medicare part B would take over the cost of the services in the emergency room.

To access Medicare Part B, a person must be a US citizen who he attained the age of 65 years old. The person must also have lived in the US for a stretch of five years at once. People with renal problems are also eligible for Medicare Part B regardless of their ages
