Here are some things you can do with your money when you retire.

  • Spend it on the things you enjoy most.
  • Invest in your children or grandchildren's education.
  • Sock it away in a savings account just in case.
  • Pay off your mortgage or expensive loans.
  • Start a small business and use some of your money as capital to start with, even if you don't think you're very good at business.
  • Start a small business and then use some of your money as capital to start with, even if you don't think you're very good at business.
  • Reduce taxes by investing in a tax-sheltered annuity.
"An annuity is a kind of insurance policy that provides regular payments to an individual or couple who do not have the ability to work because they are disabled, elderly, or both. The annuity can be purchased at any time during life; once purchased it can be referred to as a buyout or deferred annuity and will usually provide payments for life." - ( source: Wikipedia)
  • Pay off your house or mortgage and live off the interest.
  • Put it in a bank account and let it sit there.
  • Leave it to the next generation, trusting that the government won't take too much before they have a chance to use their inheritance.
  • Save some of it to leave to your children when you die; saving some of your money for them to inherit.

After retirement, actions that one will take financially must be done wisely. At that point, you must focus on creating so many means of income. Make and take part in many good business opportunities. Set up businesses, invest in Businesses, buy shares and stocks and do so many things that will help you to stay financially stable and secure.

And also, you must be able to focus on your most basic needs. At this point that you no longer work, then your wants may get reduced. Other people love to travel and that is cool if you are sure that your financial strength is worth that.
