The most valuable resource in life is money. It can improve your well-being, health, and success. But managing it might be one of the most difficult challenges to do.

Money is an emotional subject: we want it, we don't want it, or we're not sure how much we need it. And when there's a lot at stake, that uncertainty can lead to mistakes.

So how can you get better with money? Here are three steps:

1) Take stock of your current financial situation. Sit down once a month and write down all your expenses (rent, mortgage payments, utilities, car payments), then add up how much money you have left over each month after paying those bills. You might be shocked to learn the truth!

2) Set goals for yourself based on your current situation and then stick to them! If you're having trouble saving money for retirement because of student loans or medical bills, for example, figure out how much extra income will be needed each month in order to meet those goals by retirement age (e.g., $30K per year). Then find ways to increase that income.

3) Make sure your expenses are reasonable. Even if they seem like small things, they add up over time. so it's important to keep an eye on these costs so that they don't spiral out of control.

it is always the best to do well with money because you would be helping your financial life . it is good always take stock of your current financial situatiin and outline your expenses to know how much money you have left over each month after paying those bills. You would be surprised at your spending.

When you realise your spending it is to create a better budget and stick to it. let your financial goals be more realistic cut off all unrealistic goals. You need to have a budget that works for you and then stick to it which is the most important thing.

In addition to the above suggestion, I would like to add this. We should also have a daily or monthly contribution. It is not really necessary it should be something big but it can be small that it can be like 5% of all what we earn .

Truly it is small but doing this might save us from an unwanted bill. I have had this expirenced before with someone that just made monthly contribution of a small amount that means nothing to her and saved it for 12 months. So when she collect the savings it was that same time that she needed to pay for her house rent and she was able to add to the ones she already had.

Good personal financial habits are a good way to get better with your money and this at times has to do with getting rid of habits that may not be very friendly but harsh on you especially if you are a type that has already gotten adapted to so much negative and unfriendly financial habits which may actually be soothing to you and the flesh.

One must be able to streamline his or her spendings because that is a good way that one can manage money and by so doing have control over it because when you cannot manage your spending then you don't have control over your money.
