You are buying something, and you get two options, cashback, and discounts, which one should you choose, and which one is actually more beneficial?

When you see discount offers, for example, 10 percent discounts, you are not much interested in that offer because you tend to believe that they first increased the price by 10 percent and now they are offering discounts. When you are receiving 10 percent cash back, this offer sounds more interesting compared to 10 percent discounts because you tend to believe that cashback will give you cash on your hands. That’s why a lot of people tend to choose cashback instead of discounts.

If you ask me, I will say cash back is not better, discount is far better. How you might ask.

When you choose cash backs, you will be stuck with it, for instance:

The cash backs you get are supposed to be spent only within that platform. This will make you go back to the same store to spend the cash backs

The cash backs usually come with an expiry date, which means you might end up buying things that you might not need

Cash backs will not give you cash, it will just get you a coupon that you will have to spend later on. However, discounts will give you cash in your pocket. You can immediately get it and walk with discount money in your pockets.

When it comes to cash back and discounts, discount is a lot better than cash back. The cash backs one get would be spent only within that platform you bought things from this means that you have to go back to the same store to spend the cash you were given.

Another important to note is that cash backs usually come with an expiry date, so you might end up buying things that you might not need. With cashbscks you would only get a coupon and not cash that you will have to spend later. But with discounts you will give you cash in your pocket.

@Mika it is simple sell something that you do not need before expiry date then resell it to a friend. Selling something to not lose the voucher discount and then you gain the difference as you will resell it to a friend with original price. Many people are doing such practice which seems like a business and a work scheme.
