As a retired individual, there are a lot of options for you and time, in this article we will be looking at the reasons why you should consider moving to a retired home, this is mainly for those retiring at an old age and don't have children that are free to take care of them.

1) It Will Save You Money: By moving to a retired home you will be able to save your pension, must retirement homes are owned by government, even privatized ones are not much expensive, so you'll be able to save money and do other things you want to do, compared to living at home where you basically have to pay for care takers and others.

2) You Will Be Happier: By moving to a retirement home you'll be happier as an individual because you get to meet with other old people that you share the same hobbies with, you won't be bored, compared to staying at home where you'll be bored if you don't have mobility.
At retirement home, you will be able to even create new memories with people, play games and explore hobbies together.

Moving to a retirement home shouldn't be seen in a bad light, you can actually move out of it isn't working for you.

I don't know why but I've never seen moving into a retirement home in a bad light some people will say the children and not caring enough that is why the parents are moved in there but for me that doesn't make sense because moving them to a retirement home will even make the elderly happier just like you have stated they will get to meet people of the same age and interact better that spending time in their children's room where the grandchildren might even get them dissturbed it is better to just go on a visit to your parents children's room and leave afterwards than living with them.

The decision also depends on where you live since expenses vary depending on the city, town or country. In some countries the cost of a retirement home which offers good quality services is often very high. While retired government employees who get a very good pension with dearness allowance which compensates for inflation can afford to rent a retirement home of their choice, private citizens with limited funds for their old age may not be able to find a suitable retirement home offering quality services , they try to live in their own home.
