There are reports on the internet on how retired individual tend to fall into depression and other mental health issues due to coming to terms with their old age, most retired individuals get get left alone and struggle to find company, in this article we will exploring different ways you can achieve through happiness after retirement.

1) Connect With Other Retirees: This can be the single most important thing you'll do, avoid idleness and connect with other people going through the same struggle, you can decide to be doing some games or going out to have adventures, whatever it is, connecting with other will help tremendously.

2) Explore Your Hobbies: By exploring your hobbies you get to have a one on one time with yourself, you'll feel joy and peace while doing it, and when you do it enough you'll find happiness, so, go make a list of your hobbies and start engaging in them find the one you like the most and devote more time doing it.

3) You Own Your Happiness: Understand that happiness is not given, no one can give it to you, you own it and you are the only one that can allow yourself to be happy, so if this is all it is why dwell on negativity.
