The answer to this question depends on a number of factors, including your income, your retirement savings, and your tax bracket.

If you have a traditional IRA or 401(k), your withdrawals in retirement will be taxed as ordinary income. If you have a Roth IRA or 401(k), your withdrawals will be tax-free.

Your tax bracket will also play a role in how much you pay in taxes in retirement. The higher your income, the higher your tax bracket and the more you will pay in taxes.

There are a number of ways to minimize your taxes in retirement, including planning your withdrawals carefully and investing in tax-efficient retirement accounts. With careful planning, you can minimize your tax bill and maximize your retirement income.
