Below are 10 ways to cut your monthly expenses:

1. Make a budget and stick to it – Making a budget and tracking your spending is one of the best ways to cut your monthly expenses. Make sure to include all of your fixed expenses, such as rent or mortgage payments, car payments, and utilities.

2. Cut out unnecessary expenses – Evaluate your spending and look for any unnecessary expenses that you can cut out of your budget. This could include eating out, subscription services, or shopping for items you don’t need.

3. Shop for lower-priced items – When shopping for groceries, clothing, and other items, look for lower-priced alternatives. This could mean buying generic brands, shopping at discount stores, or taking advantage of sales.

4. Take advantage of discounts – Keep an eye out for discounts and coupons that can help you save money. This includes discounts for students, seniors, and military personnel.

5. Comparison shop – Do some research to make sure you’re getting the best deal possible when making a purchase. Compare prices online, in stores, and even with different service providers.

6. Negotiate your bills – Try to negotiate lower rates with your service providers. This includes internet, cable, and cell phone providers, as well as insurance companies.

7. Reduce your energy usage – Take steps to reduce your energy usage, such as unplugging appliances, turning down the thermostat, and using LED light bulbs.

8. Make your own coffee – Instead of buying coffee every day, brew your own at home. This can save you a significant amount of money over the course of a month.

9. Take public transportation – If you have access to public transportation, consider taking it instead of driving. This can save you money on gas, parking fees, and car maintenance.

10. Take on a side hustle – Consider taking on a side hustle to bring in extra income. This could be anything from freelancing to tutoring to dog walking.

Oh wow so many great ways we can cut on money to be spent on things. I try to do a whole lot of these and it had been saving me for a very long time now. I like that idea of doing things yourself it has been helping me to save good amount of money.

The other day I had to get to the laundry mart to get some of my clothes cleaned. I couldn't believe how we much I was charged for just about 5 clothes. I now realise how much money I was saving Washing my clothes daily myself.

I am not ok with point 8 as we buy coffee outside because the taste is better than coffee made at home. For the other points that is ok.
