They have been Increased Competition in the insurance industry over the past few years . The numbers of people to insure has steadily grown.and it will intensify further even with time.

The thing is that insurance industry continues to add capacity,as they are new insurance companies offering their services online. All these has changed the dynamics of insurance and have brought about stiff competition, by different Insurance agents and have driven market expansion into new geographies, and motivated insurers to develop new products.

So how can an insurance agent compete in this competitive market to still remain efficient in the industry

To be competitive an agent must have People Skills. You would be interacting mostly with People so imbibe the right skills that will make you exceptional before would be insured.

You need to show good Salesmanship because Insurance agents are salespeople by nature. . Learn how to be convincing with your words to be able to draw people to you.

You need Customer Service Skills and high Energy Level. to keep up with the demands of the job. Don't forget to be very honest in the process too and have Knowledge on a Variety of Products to show you are knowledgeable in your field of work.

The best way to fight competition in this kind of business is by reaching out to customers or your clients. You can do that by creating a questionnaire or going to people one by one to ask them what they expect from an insurance company.

If you do not reach out to your clients, you won't know what they want and you may be lagging behind. If feel that the best way to deal with competition is by reaching out to them, knowing what they want and providing what they want because it is a different to know what they want and also providing what they want
